The Coupe de Villes

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Coupe de Villes were a new wave band formed by acclaimed film director John Carpenter. The line-up featured Carpenter, who provided vocals and played bass guitar, keyboardist Nick Castle (perhaps most famous for playing the role of Michael Myers in Halloween, Carpenter's seminal 1978 horror movie), and Tommy Lee Wallace on guitar, with whom Carpenter had previously written the script for Escape from New York.
