The Renaissance Players

The Renaissance Players are an Australian early music ensemble, established in 1966/7 at Music Department, University of Sydney. It is led by Associate Professor Winsome Evans, researcher, composer, arranger, and multiinstrumentalist. Group consists of nine to ten musicians (singers and instrumentalists), depending on the needs of particular performances. Their shows are often augmented by poetry reader, and one or two miming clowns. The group’s name Read more on Last.fm
