Ricardo Lemvo

Los Angeles-based vocalist/bandleader Ricardo Lemvo is originally from the Congo in Central Africa. His music combines the strong African musical influences of his native land with Puerto Rican- and Cuban-influenced 'salsa' sounds. He collaborates with a wealth of excellent Latin musicians who skillfully adapt Lemvo's musical themes. Lemvo is expert at singing in Spanish, and creates fresh interpretations of salsa standards.
