1. JOHNS is a a five piece band from Buffalo, New York, formed in January of 2013. Originally the one-man bedroom project of John Toohill, now a full band. The band features ex-members of upstate NY's The Fucking Hotlights. Johns play a dark, moody, and tense style of music that borrows inspiration from genres of music that include post punk, garage rock, and indie rock. Inspiration for the band's musical output is drawn from a diverse variety of bands including The Blood Brothers, Nick Cave, Hot Snakes, and Drive Like Jehu. Read more on Last.fm
