John Fumo

Born in Kenosha Wisconsin. Attended the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Awarded a National Endowment for the Arts in Jazz Composition which led to his first solo record. Moved to LA in 1979. Currently playing TV, Films and Recordings, along with various live theater and studio work. Teaches Jazz Trumpet at the California Institute of the Arts. Originally conceived as 90-second works for Film and Television, this music beckoned to be lengthened into the full versions presented here. Read more on Last.fm
