There are at least four artists sharing the name Blackstar: 1) A metal/hard rock band ; 2) an American rap artist; 3) an alternative rock band; 4) a UK jungle group 1) Blackstar was a heavy metal band formed after the demise of Carcass, with their one album, Barbed Wire Soul, continuing in the vein of Carcass' Swansong (i.e. away from the grindcore of that band's early works).
