Padu del Caribe

Juan Chabaya Lampe best known by his artistic name “Padú del Caribe” is one of Aruba’s most famous artists. He gained his popularity through his astounding work as a pianist, singer, author and painter. By playing in different countries Padú del Caribe always tried to create good publicity for his country Aruba and its Aruban music. In 1976 Padú del Caribe wrote a waltz called “Aruba Dushi Tera”; which is now the national anthem of Aruba. Read more on Last.fm
