David Copenhafer

Arising out of the Bay Area folk rock scene of the 2000s, David Copenhafer writes music for melancholy. His first album features a mix of tunes played solo and by a full band. John McEntire (Tortoise, the Sea and Cake) produced the band tracks and plays drums on them. Crisp, literary pop with instrumental touches (cello, flute) and a sometimes international sound (ye-ye, Bossa Nova). Read more on Last.fm
