Yehudit Ravitz

Yehudit Ravitz (born 1956) is one of the most successful and famous Israeli rock musicians. She sings mainly in Hebrew. She was born in Be’er Sheva, in southern Israel. By the end of 2005, she had recorded twelve albums and had been performing for nearly 20 years, and had also produced numerous albums for other musicians. Her music is influenced by a variety of styles, among them the most distinctive is Spanish-Latin music, which can be attributed to the fact that one side of her family is Sephardic in origin, and Ladino speakers.
