The International

The International is an artificial rock band from Bristol, England. It is influenced by New Order, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Daft Punk, REM and Bowie. It mostly plays electronic rock with jangly guitars and analogue synth sounds. Lyrics are obsessed with memories and recollections. The name, The International, has suggestions of collective action.
