Leszek Mozdzer

Born in 1971, Mozdzer took up playing the piano at the age of five, and graduated from the Stanislaw Moniuszeko Academy in Gdansk in 1996. Classically trained he became interested in jazz in his late teens and has won many awards as a jazz musician and improviser in his native Poland. He has recorded with many Polish jazz musicians such as Tomasz Stanko, Janusz Muniak, and Michał Urbaniak as well as many international artist, Joe Lovano, Pat Metheny, Lars Danielsson and Archie Shepp to name a few.
