Juanita du Plessis (nee Naude) is a famous South African singer in Namibia was born. She became known for her hit "Ska-Rumba". Juanita married Herman (Doepie) du Plessis. Together they have three children - Ruan, Mario and Franja (the last two are twins). Her brother, Peter Naudé is also a singer in his own right. Total sales to date of all her albums totaled 1.35 million[citation needed]. In 2010 she received a SAMAaward in the category Best Afrikaans DVD for its 10th Annual Platinum Hits[1].
