John The Savage

There are two bands called John The Savage. One is a 4-piece experimental/electronic/jazz influenced band from Brighton, UK featuring: Richard Brincklow Piano & keyboards Marcus O'Dair: Upright bass Alon Cohen: Drums Andrew Phillips: Guitar& laptop They play cinematic instrumental music, influenced by everyone from EST and Yann Tierson to Godspeed You Black Emperor and Robert Fripp. They have shared stages (and sounds) with acts as diverse as Led Bib, Neil Cowley Trio, Polar Bear, Wild Beasts and Chrome Hoof.
