Jay Bizzy
Jay Bizzy was born in Halifax, grew up in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Discovered hip-hop at the age of 10. Started rhyming around 1993, with local crews, Mad Drama and 2,1., and was the first person in his town to make and sell hip-hop mixtapes. These mixtapes featured popular hip-hop songs from that era, but would also showcase the local talent in Shelburne. In 1999, Bizzy wrote and recorded "U R Shelburne When," in the back of his ice cream shop in his home town. Read more on Last.fm
