Hydroponic Sound System is the music collective spearheaded by production team and lab rats Skin and Rube. They get down with Hip-Hop, Funk & Soul, Analogue Afro Boogie, & Dancefloor Jazz. From a production standpoint, Rube and Skin prefer to filter a wide array of influences into a dusted electronic thump. Hydro collaborates with a number of musicians and vocalists - most frequently Bavu Blakes and Headkrack.
