Gilberto Alves (born as Gilberto Alves Martins) was born in Apr 15, 1915, in Rio de Janeiro. At 15, meets Jacob do Bandolim, and soom another great brazilian stars, as Grande Othelo e Sílvio Caldas. In 1935 the radialist Almirante invited Gilberto for his show in Rádio Club do Brasil, where start his career.
