Crescent City Gold

Crescent City Gold was a one time only super group of New Orleans' well known Rhythm & Blues session musicians. They were Dr. John aka as Mac Rebennack (guitar, vocals, piano), Alvin 'Red' Tyler (tenor & baritone saxophones, vocals), Lee Allen (tenor saxophone, vocals), Allen Toussaint (piano, organ, synthesizer, vocals), Edward Frank (piano, vocals), and Earl Palmer (drums, percussion, vocals). They recorded one CD of classic New Orleans R&B hits and a mixture of original material for High Street Records in 1994. Read more on Last.fm
