Ben Perowsky

Ben Perowsky is an American jazz drummer. Perowsky was born in New York City, where he played with his father Frank Perowsky, who is a saxophonist. Ben played with Roy Ayers, James Moody, and Rickie Lee Jones as a sideman, and was a member of the Lounge Lizards, Lost Tribe, Elysian Fields, and Liminal. He formed his own trio in 1997 with Chris Speed on saxophone and Scott Colley on bass, and began recording as a leader in 1999.
