Studebaker John & The Hawks

Studebaker John & The Hawks is an American blues band led by guitarist and harmonica player Studebaker John (born John Grimaldi). Formed in 1971, the band was named for a car that Grimaldi owned (and inspired by J.B. Hutto & The Hawks). As well as Grimaldi, the band has featured Bob Carter, Kelly Littleton, Mike Garrett, and Ron Regnas. In 1979, the band recorded their first album "Straight No Chaser". Grimaldi produced their next release, "Rockin' The Blues", which was released in 1985 and reissued in Europe in 1992 by Double Trouble. Read more on Last.fm
